Our Promise

We're here for more than enrollment.

The goal of College Success is not simply to help a young adult get into school.

Mickey's House wants to help create the stability and support needed to stay enrolled, keep moving forward, and ultimately complete a college degree or career certification.

We believe every young person has inherent worth, and that God has a place and purpose for everyone.

You have a home.
You have support.
You have a future worth building.

Our Goal

Completion, not just enrollment.

Mickey's House aims to reduce the housing, financial, transportation, technology, and support barriers that can cause students to leave school before reaching their goal.

Aspirational goal

Help every participating student who chooses a college or certification path reach completion.

This is what we are working toward, not a reported result or guarantee.

Why Housing Matters for Students

It's hard to focus on school when you're worried about where you'll live.

Young adults leaving foster care may be navigating college, employment, finances, transportation, and independent living all at once. Stable housing can remove one major source of uncertainty and make room for the work of building a future.

Stability

A dependable place to live can make it easier to focus on classes and work.

Proximity

Housing near education, employment, and community resources can reduce unnecessary barriers.

Independence

A stable home can help young adults build routines, financial responsibility, and greater self-sufficiency.
